After we discuss the assignment and before I write a word, I read and absorb any information you send me. I relish this exploratory phase of the assignment. I’ll then begin to develop ideas about the most effective approach to your story and explore the subject further with my own research, if appropriate. To round out the picture, I’ll probably have questions for you. During this process, I invariably feel enthusiasm building…until I can’t wait to transfer my excitement about your message onto the page.

At the agreed-upon date, you will receive your first draft, with suggestions for visuals if you wish.

I charge a flat fee. One round of revisions is free of charge unless the revisions are based on a change in the original approved strategy or direction. Requests for revisions must be made within 30 days of receiving the original copy.
